Chhota Udaipur: In a tragic accident on Dabhoi Road in Bodeli, a biker lost his life after a banned Chinese kite string cut his neck.
The victim, Jagdish Tarbada, 46, a resident of Vaghetha village in Sankheda taluka, was riding his motorcycle to Bodeli for work when the incident occurred. While passing through Dabhoi Road, the string of a kite, reportedly an illegal sharp Chinese one, caught his neck and cut his throat. Jagdish bled heavily, and his clothes were soaked in blood. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
With the Uttarayan festival around two months away, this incident raises serious concerns about the dangers posed by sharp kite strings, particularly Chinese-manufactured ones. Although the sale of these Chinese kite strings is banned, some people are still managing to obtain them, putting lives at risk. DeshGujarat
