Stray Dog Menace: Another Youth Attacked in Paldi
December 02, 2025
Ahmedabad: The menace of stray dogs has resurfaced in the Paldi area, raising concern among residents after a young man was bitten inside Ratna Ruchi Vatika Society. The incident has sparked fear in the neighbourhood, especially as it comes on the heels of an earlier case in which a woman Booth Level Officer (BLO) was attacked by a stray dog in the same society.
This latest incident follows a series of dog-bite cases reported in the area two weeks ago. Residents say the repeated attacks within the society have left them anxious and frustrated. In response to the most recent case, the Cattle Nuisance Control Department (CNCD) of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has sent a team to the location for inspection.
Locals have demanded that the CNCD intensify dog-catching operations and expedite sterilisation efforts in the area to prevent further attacks. DeshGujarat
