ACB Gujarat books 3 in ₹1.25 lakh bribe case

Idar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today booked three contractual cluster coordinators of the Taluka Panchayat, Idar, who demanded a bribe of ₹1,25,000 for approving construction bills of segregation sheds and waste management works in villages including Choriwad, Jadar, Virpur, Bolundra, and Panol.
During the operation carried out today, accused Kamalkumar Narayandas Patel and Jinnatben Patel were caught accepting the bribe on-site, while Mehulkumar Rathod had telephonic discussions with the complainant but was not present at the location.
