Nestle India Invests ₹225 Crore to Expand Sanand Factory

Sanand: Nestle India on Thursday announced that it is expanding the production capacity at its Sanand factory in Gujarat. In a filing to the stock exchanges, the company said it has invested ₹225 crore to add a new production line for its chocolate brand Munch.
The company stated that the investment will be funded through internal accruals, and the new line will increase production capacity by around 8,300 tonnes per annum.
In its filing, Nestle India said a new Munch manufacturing line has been commissioned at the Sanand facility as part of its planned capital expenditure on both greenfield and brownfield projects aimed at enhancing overall capacity to meet future demand.
