Hindu Sena Alleges Religious Conversion Activities in Jamnagar Village

Jamnagar: The Hindu Sena has alleged that religious conversion activities were being carried out at a house located behind a factory on the outskirts of Haripar village in Dhrol taluka of Jamnagar district.

According to the organisation, its members conducted a surprise inspection after receiving complaints that tribal workers were being gathered every Sunday under the guise of service activities and prayer meetings and allegedly encouraged to convert from Hinduism to Christianity.

The Hindu Sena claimed that during the inspection, its members found several copies of the Holy Bible, religious hymn booklets, other religious literature, and some certificates that they described as suspicious.

Following the inspection, members of the organisation staged a protest at the site and informed the Haripar Gram Panchayat Sarpanch about the incident over the phone.

The Hindu Sena alleged that converting people through inducement or misleading them is against the law. It urged those organising the gatherings to stop such activities immediately and warned that it would seek legal action if the alleged activities continued.

Hindu Sena Gujarat President Pratik Bhatt and Saurashtra Vice President Gaurav Mehta, along with other office-bearers, were present during the inspection. DeshGujarat
