Hi-tech Regional Emergency Response Centre in Vadodara soon

Vadodara will have Rs 3 crore Hi-tech Regional Emergency Response Centre to provide coordinated relief, rescue and medical facilities at the time of calamities next year.
The centre which is coming up near Harni village on National Highway No.8 will start functioning next year approximately after nine months from now in 10000 square metre campus which will accommodate 2734 square metre building, garage and workshop.
The proposed centre will be armed with the fleet of 35 hi-tech foreign vehicles including Rescue vehicle, Hazardous material container, command and control vehicle, lighting trailers, Mobile working station.
The government of Gujarat has planned total five Regional Emergency Response Centres for entire state. Vadodara centre will be one of them. With it’s modern facilities it would cover the Central Gujarat area.
