First phase of Surat’s Science Centre to be inaugurated in August

Civil work for Surat Municipal Corporation’s three-years-old Science Centre project has been completed recently, and it is very much likely, that first phase of the Science Centre, consisting a Science exhibition and a Museum will be opened in August this year according to sources.
In second phase of this project, Space Gallery, Diamond Gallery and Art Gallery will be added to the centre.
The ‘Fun Science’ exhibition in the centre has been created with the help of National Science Museum. Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) is helping to create a space gallery in the centre. Indian Diamond Institute(IDI) has extended its support to develop a Diamond Gallery on second floor of the centre.
