After Congress party’s angry reaction on Modi’s ‘Italian language’ statement last week, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today asked the people in his Kutch rally what he did wrong mentioning Italy in his speech. Modi asked what was uncivilized in mentioning the word – Italian. Watch this in video above.

Nothing.It’s because it came from Gujarat. If another CM had said no one would have heard it.

Modi can say whatever he like. But the bottomline is clear that he has acted in a uncivilized manner which is not acceptible to me. I have lost any respect for him. he has more important issues to address rather than interfering in matters of central govt. he is just doing politics of any matter. Still in gujarat there are many poor people who are hungry, with no access to education, no promise of future, working in order to get a meal a day…
I should have no doubt in saying Gujarat is moving ahead, it has not moved ahead. line should be clear for you Mr.Modi. and it is not only gujarat, other states are also moving. so stop showcasing you as a savior of gujaratis, coz there are BRTS in New Delhi as well, in southern states as well. there is a metro train running successfully in new delhi, there is a sea link in Maharashtra as well.
The only difference is that none of chief minister from those states wake up every morning shouting that I did this and I did that…no need to make trips in BRTS to get some cheap publicity…just get back to work.

Looks like either congressi’s don’t understand what is in the letters or they don’t have ultimate power to make decision. So what is wrong in mentioning to write to the right person who is in power and is able to influence decision heavily or make deciison. When a foreigner greets me with Namaste I accept with pride and respect that person who went extra mile to know my language and to learn my culture. So writing to her in Italian should make her proud. Anyway may be keeping the prices high might be another way of keeping poor poorer so we can earn more awards.If India holds highest amount of money in Swiss banks of course it can reduce affordable price for poor.

Helloooo INDIA first of all you must change your NAME which is required to post your ITALIAN comments. You dont have any knowledge about the statistics of gujarat before MODI and after Modi. Also, Modi is not telling to everybody that the state is growing because of him. but, its the statements from all over the world for modi. Also, u will b the only person in our gujarat to be sayy or act like this against our MODI. TRY YOUR BEST TO GET CHEAP PUBLICITY BY NAMING YOURSELF INDIA…GOOD LUCK…..

I agree with comments posted by India above. Look at Banglore – they have grabbed the opportunity by making silicon valley of india. look at hyderabad… look at Jaipur.. look at Gurgaon.. how this cities and states have developed. India is anyway growing at 8% to 10% since last 5 years so nothing new if Gujarat is making progress at little higher rate than this….He needs to be polite and keep himself away from “cheap” politics.People are voting him not because of development but because of Hindu muslim rivalry. If that was not the case than Modi could win more seats in Loksabha election.In fact Modi should try to bring in harmony to get better advantage for Gujarat from Centre.Why did he say “No ” to Metro proposal in Ahmedabad eventhough centre had approved the project and was ready to give Grant. BRTS cannot handle mass transportation as Metro train.
If you talking about industrial development than credit does not go to Modi. Gujarat has always has been hot destination for investment. Did Reliance – world’s largest refinery complex – in jamnagar came during Modi tenure ? No. Did Tata at Mithapur came during Modi – No. There are so many exapmles to quote. Modi remains in lime light that is why it looks like it is all because of Modi. What was the need to let go Tax on movie “Paa” ? instead he could put in those money for betterment of gujarat. Where is the film city for which MOU was signed two years ago.Where is the SEZ in Gandinagar – MOU was signed three years ago. Where is the Parsvanath Mall – 500 crore otel and mall project – MOS was signed three years ago!This is just examples — there is an ongoing big list.
Is he a good leader – My answer is yes but he needs to work on his hunger for self appreciation….!!!!
