Coast Guards organizes fishing boat race off Porbandar coast

The Indian Coast Guards on Thursday organized a race of fishing boats from Chowpatty beach to Jetty area off Porbandar coast in Gujarat.
Total 41 Small boats and engine driven boats participated in this race in two categories. In small boats two sailors were allowed, while in mechanized boat, four persons were allowed. The Coast Guard organized such race after gap of three years.
The first prize winner was Tejasvi boat while the second prize went to Subhash Nagar’s Mukesh Sagar boat and third to Anand Sagar boat. District police Chief and Coast Guard DGP gave away the prizes to winners.
