Amitabh Bachchan to spread ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’

Gujarat Tourism has invited proposals for making of five to eight TV advertisements featuring Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan to promote Gujarat Tourism. The campaign has been named as ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ in tender document on Gujarat Tourism website.
According to tender document, the duration of the ad films will be 90/60 seconds which can be edited to 30,15 and 10 seconds. The ad films will cover the destinations of Somanth, Dwarka, Gir, Rann of Kutch, Gandhiji’s landmarks and other aspects of state such as Fairs and Festivals, cuisines, handicrafts, dance etc.
The master production of series would be done in Hindi. Then after its dubbing would be done in English and Gujarati. All ad films are to be released in India only as per the tender document.
Pre Bid meeting to share the concept of the films has been called on 24th March, 2010 in Gandhinagar which will be addressed by M/s. O & M.
Some of the criteria for selection of the agency that would make the ads are:
-The Company should have been in existence for a minimum of 8-10 years
-The Company should have been rated as the best production house at least once in the last 5 years by recognized/ reputed bodies like the Abby’s and any other similar bodies.
-The Director should have won the Best Director Award at least once in the last 5 years by recognized/ reputed bodies (international or national) like the Cannes, Abby’s and any other similar bodies.
-The Company should have experience of making Television Commercial on Tourism (National/ International) or for Multinationals brands like Cadbury, Vodafone, etc.
– The Company should have a well trained in-house production team
-Preference will be given to a production house that has the experience of working with celebrities from the Indian Film industry, especially with regard to handling their security and at the shoot arrangements.
-The Company should have a minimum turnover of Rs. 20 Crores
