Purushottam Rupala becomes BJP’s national Vice President

Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday announced party’s National Executive which consists of 121 members, including 12 Vice-Presidents, 10 General Secretaries, 15 Secretaries and one Treasurer.

Gujarat BJP’s ex-President and Rajya Sabha member Shri Purushottam Rupala has become Vice President of the party in new team. Rupala is Modi loyalist. The other Vice Presidents declared are Shri Shanta Kumar, Shri Kalraj Mishra, Shri Vinay Katiyar, Shri Bhagatsinh Koshiyari, Shri Mukhytar Abbas Naqvi, Shri Karuna Shukla, Smt. Najma Heptullah, Smt. Hema Malini, Smt. Bijoya Chakravarti and Smt. Kiran Ghai.

Other names from Gujarat in National Executive are: Bhupendrasinh Chudasama(member, national executive), Anandiben Patel and Amit Shah(both Modi loyalists, they are Special invitees in national executive), Narendra Modi, Keshubhai Patel(all BJP Chief Ministers and ex Chief Ministers are permanent invitee according to BJP constitution), Amit Thakar and Balubhai Shukla.
