As many as five thousand fans of Amitabh Bachchan from all over Gujarat gathered outside Adalaj stepwell to watch his one glimpse.

Due to mistakenly reported fact in one of the newspapers that Bachchan would arrive at Adalaj stepwell at 7.00 am, thousands of people gathered outside the stepwell since sunrise, to occupy suitable place around the stepwell. However Big B’s actual arrival time at the stepwell was around noon, as he had to complete photo shoot in a studio set up inside the Taj hotel in Ahmedabad in morning hours.

Big B arrived at Adalaj stepwell at around 11.00 am and waved his hand at the people gathered outside the stepwell. There was a camera in his hand and he took pictures of his fans. Big B stayed at Adalaj stepwell for five to ten minutes and state away drove to Ahmedabad airport to fly in charter plane to reach Porbandar where he is going to shoot at Mahatma Gandhi’s birth place, and at chowpatty.
