Gujarat High Court grants bail, Amit Shah reaches home

Gujarat High Court today granted conditional bail to former Gujarat minister of state for Home Shri Amit Shah. Shah is likely to be released from jail today evening against Rs. 1 lakh bond.
Shah will have to appear before CBI police station in Mumbai once in a month according to High Court verdict.
Gujarat High Court refused to grant stay on its order as demanded by CBI lawyer.
After denied bail in lower court, Shah had challenged the decision in High Court.
Shah was in jail for last almost three months. He was jailed on 5 July.
Meanwhile BJP has welcomed the decision. BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay said his party always believed that Shahs is innocent.
Shah’s one of the advocates, Shri Nanavati told media that Shah was jailed without any direct legal evidence.
After released from Sabarmati central prison at around 10.00 pm, Shah reached his home in Ahmedabad’s Naranpur area. Hundreds of BJP workers welcomed Shah by bursting crackers and shouting slogans.
