75 boxes of cow beef seized, 6 held at Ahmedabad railway station

Six persons from Ahmedabad are held by police in Ahmedabad today morning for illegal trafficking of cow beef through railway.
Based on inputs received, the Police today morning raided the Jaipur-Falna train and seized 75 boxes of cow beef.
According to police 55 boxes were loaded in Jaipur, while 20 in Ajmer, and the delivery point was in Ahmedabad’s Shahpur.
Locak butchers who were to receive the parcel tried their best to misguide the police by claiming that this was not cow beef.
However Forensic experts validated that it was actually cow beef.
The total weight of beef is 5,200 kg. This is the largest such consignment seized by police in Ahmedabad.
Out of total six arrests, five are Qureshis, while one is Maniar.
