Narendra Modi visits ailing minister Jaynarayan Vyas in hospital

Gujarat Cheif Minister Shri Narendra Modi today visited Health and Tourism Minister Shri Jaynarayan Vyas in Ahmedabad’s UN Mehta hospital.
Shri Vyas was yesterday hospitalized first in Anand and then was taken to Ahmedabad after he complained uneasiness during Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Sadbahvna fast programme in Anand. Shri Vyas is prabhari of Anand district where Shri Modi’s fast was held yesterday.
64-year old Shri Vyas is one of the senior ministers in Modi cabinet. He represents north Gujarat’s Sidhdhpur as member of assembly. He is Gujarat government spokesperson too.
According to doctors, Shri Vyas had problem of low blood pressure and his condition is improving.
It should be mentioned that being a Health minister Shri Vyas has chosen govt/public hospital for his treatment. This is contrary to other ministers and MLAs who choose private hospitals for treatment. The hospital where Vyas has been admitted treats poorest of poor heart patients of Gujarat.
