Modi, Advani, Gadkari to attend BJP meet in Tamil Nadu

Top BJP leaders, including L K Advani and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to attend the two-day conference of the party’s state unit scheduled in Madurai on April 28. State unit secretary Pon Radhakrishnan launched the website for the fifth state-level conference of the party, titled ‘Thamarai Sangamam,’ (The Lotus Confluence). The website mentioned that “several prominent national leaders” attending the conference include Advani, BJP President Nitin Gadkari and Modi, among others. Around three lakh cadre are expected to participate and exhibitions on achievements of nine BJP state governments, besides the party’s history and growth would be held, it said.
