Before launching of first phase of Narayana Hrudayalaya’s Ahmedabad facility, Dr. Devi Shetty interacted with media persons.

It was an insightful talk, and impressive too. Dr. Shetty talked about scope of affordable specialty medical treatment in India. He talked about already successfully running micro insurance health schemes in various states of southern part of India.

When asked whether Gujarat govt is interested to start micro insurance health scheme like Yeshasvini or Arogyashree, Dr. Shetty said, ‘the govt is working on it’.

As the press meet was held to announce the Ahmedabad facility, lots of talk revolved around that subject.
