When it comes to jokes, Mahesh Shastri simply rocks.

In Doordarshan’s Girnar award function recently held in Ahmedabad’s Tagore hall, Mahesh Shastri’s jokes compelled many serious government officials to laugh out loudly.

Mahesh Shastri is one of the gem entertainers who knows the taste of the people of Gujarat and especially Ahmedabad very well.

In 1980s and early 1990s his shows could beat any other entertainment programme on Doordarshan.
