First ‘Deccan Shuttles’ flight to take off today on Ahmedabad-Surat-Bhavnagar route

Deccan Charters Limited (DCL) will kick off its daily non-schedule air shuttle service named ‘Deccan Shuttles’ today morning from the Ahmedabad airport. The first flight will reach Surat at around 9.00 am. ‘Deccan Shuttles’ will connect the airports of Gujarat using two turbo prop aircrafts, Cessna Grand Caravan 208 B that can carry up to nine passengers, the company said in its website.
The first aircraft will fly to Surat in the morning at 9.00 am and will depart from Surat airport at about 4:20 pm to reach Ahmedabad at 5:35 pm. While another aircraft will depart from Surat at about 9:30 am to reach Bhavnagar airport at 10:05 am and that the same flight will depart from Bhavnagar airport at 2:10 pm to reach Surat at 2:45 pm. The company has not announced the passenger fare structure yet. The service will be available six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
Deccan Shuttles has non-scheduled license therefore it is not allowed to publicize its flight schedules the way carriers such as mainstream Airlines can.
Company’s future plans involve Ahmedabad-Kandla flight starting from August 27, and Ahmedabad-Jamnagar flight possibly from September 10.
