Media cell convener of BJP, South Gujarat Shri Niranjan Jajmera has been elected a new Mayor of Gujarat’s second largest city Surat.
A new team of the city which is considered one of the fastest developing city in the world was elected today.
While Jajmera has become Mayor, Rajesh Desai has become Standing Committee Chairman.
Dayashaknar Singh has been elected new Deputy Mayor of Surat Municipal Corporation.
In another development, Babubhai Solanki has been made a new Mayor of Bhavnagar. Himanshu Desai has been made new Chairman of Standing Committee. Govindbhai Kukreja is new Deputy Mayor.
