Trade centre(C.G.Road),Panchdhara Complex(S.G.Road) sealed

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) team today sealed C.G.Road based Trade Centre complex.

The complex has about 200 shops and offices.

This is the fourth commercial complex on C.G.Road being sealed in ongoing sealing drive of AMC. Earlier Agrawal complex, Om complex, and Maradia Plaza were sealed on same road in last 10 days.

Buildings are sealed for various reason like construction without approval, absence of no objection certificate, lacking of implementation of fire safety provisions, and construction of shops instead of parking in underground space. There are about 57 buildings in western part of Ahmedabad that are likely to be sealed in coming days for same reasons.

Demolition, Sealing on Thursday

One unit near Nandi Complex, India Colony, Thakkarbapa Nagar worth 200 sq.meter sealed for construction without approval.

Four units near Sitaram Bapa chowk, New Naroda sealed worth 350 sq.m for construction without approval.

Trade Centre, near Stadium Circle, Navrangpura – 160 units(shops/offices) worth 6050 sq.m sealed as the building was without ‘no objection certificate(NOC)’ and lacking of fire safety system.

Shubh Complex, near Rajasthan Hospital, opposite Kedar tower in Shahibag area – 1 unit worth 600 sq.m sealed for having godown in parking space.

Panchadhara complex, opposite Sikh Gurudwara on S.G.Road – 28 units worth 5950 sq.m sealed as the building was without fire safety and NOC

Radheshyam Industrial Estate on Odhav Ring road – 1 unit worth 650 sq.m unauthorized construction removed

Mahakali Estate, near Shivam Park on National Highway no.8 Narol – 13 units worth 390 sq m demolished for unauthorized construction.

Unauthorized construction in five units worth 90 sq.m near Geratpur railway crossing demolished
