Wedding rush as Kamurta begins from 16th,NRIs exempted however

As one-month long Kamurta period is starting from 16th of this month, the wedding rush is high across Gujarat. This because Kamurta period is considered as inauspicious for organizing auspicious events.
There are thousands of weddings organized in Gujarat in three days prior to 16 December.
However for NRIs, the pundits have allowed wedding on 19-20-21-27-29-30th December and 1st January days.
