Veteran Gujarati author Nanabhai Jebaliya passes away, CM condoles his death

Veteran author Nanabhai Jebaliya is no more. He passed away today at the age of 75.
Born in 1938 at Khalpar(district Bhavnagar) Shri Jebaliya was son of Ranba and Harsurbhai. He married to Kanuben in 1965. He had two sons, Rajendrabhai and Vijaybhai.
After completing Junior PTC from Songadh Adhyapan mandir, he became primary school teacher.
His first published item was ‘Lakdu Bhange’ in Chandni magazine. His stories and articles were published in Phulchhab, Jayhind, Pratap, Gujarati Times of India, Sandesh and Divya Bhaskar.
Shri Jebaliya gave 30 books to Gujarati literature world. He authored novels like Megharavo, Rang bilori kachna, Tarnano dungar, Vanki dhara vanka vahen, Endhan, Suraj ugyo sanj, Bhina chadhan, Ardha surajni savar, Ame ugya ta shamnane desh, Shauryadhara, Sathwaro, Mari shreshth vartao, humour stories like Saurashtrano lokvinod, Dhakel pancha dodhso and number of kids play and stories.
He won three gold prizes for short stories.
CM condoles Jebalia’s death
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today expressed his heartfelt shock and deep sorrow at the death of Gujarati litterateur novelist and author Nanabhai Jeblia and sent his condolences to the bereaved family.
In his condolence message, Mr. Modi said that late Nanabhai Jeblia’s contribution in furthering the Gujarati language and literature would be remembered for long.
