Next hearing on Hardik’s bail petition on December 5
November 26, 2015
Correspondent, Ahmedabad
The sessions court here today did not give any relief to the jailed Patidar reservation stir anti-govt leader Hardik Patel and fixed December five as the next date of hearing on his regular bail petition in the case of sedition lodged by the crime branch of Ahmedabad police.
With this the possibility of his coming out of jail before the second phase of the ongoing local body polls on November 29 has ended.
Hardik, who is lodged in Lajpore central jail of Surat in connection with yet another case of sedition, had filed bailed petition in the sessions court here in which he has claimed that the allegations against him were false and politically motivated.
The Crime Branch on the other hand placed the voice spectography test report of the Patidar leader conducted by the FSL Gandhinagar which has found his original voice matching with the one in the sensational telephonic intercept based on which the case of sedition and waging war against duly elected government was filed by the crime branch. Five other aides of Hardik were also accused in the case.
The crime branch advocate opposed his bail plea today saying the positive result of the voice spectography test clearly proves his involvement in the serious crime.
Possibility of another arrest of Hardik by Ahmedabad Police Special Operation Group(SOG) can’t be denied in connection with GMDC ground incident.
