CPVC is used to make high quality polymer pipes.
Addressing a press conference here Eric Schnur, President of Lubrizol Advanced Materials, said that the capacity of the plant set up in the one of the largest chemical parks in India in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) of Dahej in Bharuch district would have the annual production capacity of 55,000 tonnes.
The cost on setting up of the plant is around Rs. 325 crore.
Apart from catering to Indian market the plant will also support the emerging growth of the company in South Asia, the Middle East and East Africa.
