Close aide Bambhaniya gives major jolt to Hardik on first phase poll eve in Gujarat

Gandhinagar:

In a major jolt to PAAS leader Hardik Patel on the eve of first phase of Gujarat poll, his close aide Dinesh Bambhaniya today took a revolting posture and said that Hardik was maintaining silence while Congress was ‘Cheating’ the Patidar community on reservation issue.

In a press conference here he said that he was not resigning from PAAS but he was aggrieved with Hardik who was silent despite Congress party’s cheater like attitude on quota issue and was even participating in poll campaign.

He said that Congress had promised to include the reservation road map to Patidar community in its manifesto but it did not do so. Bambhaniya, who was a co-accused in a sedition case with Hardik, said that after the announcement of Congress manifesto on December 4, he had put forth his point in front of party state president Bharatsinh Solanki and even talked to Hardik repeatedly but despite assurances nothing has happened. ‘It is cheating and I am pained to see that Hardik was silent while Congress was trying to cheat the community,’ he said.

Bambhaniya said that he wanted the agitation to be put on hold till election. He was also not going to join BJP or any other political party as his fight was for the martyrs of Patidar community and it would continue. He would remain with PAAS and continue his fight.

Taking a dig at sex CDs of Hardik, he said that not all the CDs can be morphed and promiscuous behaviour was not befitting for a person who claims to lead a community. ‘Hardik should file FIR if he feels that it was morphed,’ he said.

He said that Patidar community was clever and would not be cheated by Congress.
