Gandhinagar: The General Administration Department of Government of Gujarat has released a circular encouraging the posting of the husband and wife at the same place in work, who both are government employees.

The circular also notes that the transfers should also be done if the minimum service duration of one year for females and two years for males is completed. The circular notes that in those cases in which husband and wife are employed in state services, panchayat services or any public undertakings of the state, the efforts should be made to post both of them at the same place.
