Gujarat govt plans recruitment for 8000 posts via GSSSB in 2024

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government aims to expedite the filling of class-3 posts to bolster the administrative system. Accordingly, recruitment will be announced for a total of 8,000 posts across various cadres in the year 2024, said Minister Shri Rishikesh Patel. The minister gave this reply in the state assembly in response to a question about the recruitment process for various cadres posed by the Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board.
The Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board had previously issued recruitment notifications for 1,680 posts in 2022 and 1,246 posts in 2023. The recruitment process carried out after November 2023 for various cadres in different departments has reached its final stage and will be concluded promptly, as per the minister’s statement.
Furthermore, the minister emphasized that stringent measures have been implemented through legislation to address malpractices in competitive examinations. DeshGujarat
