Light to moderate rain in 30 talukas of Gujarat in 12 hours on Monday
October 14, 2024
Gandhinagar: Only 30 out of a total of 251 talukas across Gujarat received rainfall during the 6 AM to 6 PM period today. According to official data, Bhnavad in Devbhumi Dwarka topped the chart with 2.48 inches of rainfall, followed by Khambhalia, Dhari, and Savarkundla, all recording over an inch of rain. Although the continuous spell of rainfall in various parts of Gujarat after Navratri is unusual, it has subsided over the past few days and is likely to decrease further in the coming days, as the IMD has not issued any heavy rain forecast for the next seven days.
