6 nabbed for making PMJAY cards for ineligible candidates

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has detained six individuals linked to a scam involving the issuance of PMJAY cards to ineligible individuals.
The DCB registered a case against Nimesh Dileep Dodiya, who managed the PMJAY desk at Khyati Multispeciality Hospital, along with Mohammadfazal Mohammadaslam Shaikh, Mohammadaspaq Mohammadakram Shaikh, Narendrasinh Dharmendrasinh Gohil, Imtiaz Kader Havez, and Imran Jabirhussain Karigar. All of them were arrested and remanded in police custody until December 21.
This new scam emerged during the Crime Branch’s investigation into fraudulent surgeries conducted under the PMJAY scheme at Khyati Multispeciality Hospital. The Crime Branch has detained six people in connection with the scam and launched a deeper investigation into the matter. Reports suggest that Khyati Hospital is also implicated in the racket. There are concerns that the fraud may not be limited to Ahmedabad but could be operating on a nationwide scale. DeshGujarat
