Vadodara: The state government has approved the general arrangement drawings (GADs) for five bridges in Vadodara, paving the way for the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) to commence work on several long-pending projects.
The approvals were discussed during a weekly meeting of senior civic officials, where it was confirmed that the state government has cleared the GADs, enabling the projects to move forward. The five bridges include the Bajwa railway overbridge, VUDA Circle flyover, Gotri Road flyover near Yash Complex Crossroads, the bridge near Kamnath Mahadev Temple, and the Sussen–Tarsali Crossroads flyover. It is learned that the state government will fund the projects, while the VMC will now finalize cost estimates and execution timelines. DeshGujarat
