Gujarat Forensic Science University set for January launch
Gandhinagar, DeshGujarat, 17 October, 2008
Gujarat Forensic Science University(FSU) conceived by Chief Minister Narendra Modi will start functioning from 1st of January next year with Rs 38 crore budget in Gandhinagar.
University will conduct several post graduate courses related to Science. Some courses that would be possibly offered on day one include Lie Detection, Brain Mapping, Narco Analysis, Firing Range, Bomb, Laptop’s Mechanics.
FSU will produce skillful human resource to fight against terrorism scientifically. FSU will also offer PhD in Forensic Science. Some police officers are already waiting to enroll for PhD in FSU.
Gujarat government has allotted Rs 3 crore as of now. Government has also allotted 20,000 square meter land behind State Police headquarter building(Police Bhavan) in sector 18/A in Gandhinagar for FSU where a building will come up. Some foreign universities have already proposed tie-up with FSU.
Gujarat assembly had recently passed Gujarat Forensic Science University Bill-2008.

This is basic requirement of time,update gujarat police like isreal police,give morepower to police,give them advanced wapon,coordenation of GFSU and gujarat police excellent result in future,thanx to modiji,still more work is required.make a special task force for kuttch district,give a identity card in each village of kuttch,register buying and selling of property,make a high tech police station in taluka of kuttch.

One can see that from 1960 to 2001, there were only 7 universities in Gujarat, but after that…15 different universities are there in Gujarat. In basic problems, Narendra modi has done tremendous work. Education(from Primary to University),Water,Electricity,Roads and Health. It is not that past chief ministers did not wish all this progress, but only one chief minister has wish and ability!!!!!!

Please also ask GFSU to conduct joint collaborative research projects with foreign universities to bring the new technical expertise to India. Help the entrepreneurs to make new types of forensic devices in Gujarat itself so that it brings down the cost of using security equipment and helps to increase their use.

Sir, i am a graduate of biotechnology. There are certain applications of biotechnology also found in forensic science technology. Sir i would like to join PG programme there at fsu. This effort will be a powerful stimulus for the enrichment of scintific community of gujarat. As gujarat is leader of the biopharmaseutical industries, what provision for the biotechnology based industries have been made by the gujarat govt? waiting for your reply.
