congraulation very enlightning and gives a new dimention to the music and bhajans love it
Its done very well, enjoyed listening it.
After reading all the comments on this Qawwaly all I say is Wah Wah Wah Wah all the comments are Positive only.
Great job guys.
Music is the international platform for a heart-to-heart connection.
Proved yet once again by Riyaaz and the members of his group.
Long live Music and its power of unification.
Riyaaz Sahaab,
Bahaut bahaut shukria huzoor;
Alla-talla aap ko, aap ke saathiyo (aur oon tamaam gulokaaroh ko, joh apne fun se is duniya mein chain o aman phailaate hai) ko salaamat rakhe.
bahaut abhar , the meaning of the bhajan will never change. It is living in every heart and soul. long live the love of this bhajan and its power of emotion that can live for ever. Manju
wawo the qualli is better than ever listen and the way it is presented is the wonderful work done by the musicians and all artists. really enjoyed thanks.
Dharmesh,
You will be surprised to know that those you are mocking are the very ones who encourage this sentiment of unity among Indians. As opposed to the communal chaps you idolize who would kill these nice Qawwals given a chance.
Sublime….Keep it up…
i liked the comment that the hanuman chalisa should also be converted to this format by this group … would love to hear that …. this effort is also supreme
What a heartfelt expression by young artists sang so perfectly and prayerfully! Wishing you all the success and spiritual sojourn.
Love from Ashland, Oregon USA
Wow, what a song. Excillent.
Hello Dear Ones..!
Especially..All the October 2nd born:… Happy birthday….best wishes..and Love…! And, to all the others too-the following bhajan will evoke a lot of emotions in different ways-school prayers..meetings..
Vaishnava jana to taene Kaheeyea…
Perfume of the Desert is Sufi Love….Why not you allow yourself be treated by a rendering in ‘Sufi Quawali’ style-our very well known:
Vaishnava jana to taene Kaheeyea…since, the God is deposited within the delicacy of Beings… with all the inner wealth: knowledge..joy…! …but..lo it is behind a veil blocking our perception.. this is one of the divine mysteries that reason denies like the darkness on a New Moon night- a blindness of ignorance…!
The rendering in ‘Sufi style’ is a delicacy to heart-most of may have heard in a countless time in the ‘Bhajan form’-but, this new style is worth in its own ‘realm’-Watch the expression of each word…and the nuance will surge the inner waves to ‘Sufi Love’-which is no different then the celestial love that echoed in ‘Brindavan’…

wonderful experiment. sung with devotion and purity.
thanks for experimenting and teaching the world to keep their eyes and ears open for new interpretations.
what a great rendition in very classical style ,gujerati favourite bhajan of mahatma gandhi, wonderfully done. BRAVO. keep up the good work and create similar popular ” saare jahan se achcha hindostan hamara” in this style. awesome.
I have a But !!!!!!!!! Good singing as well as the fact that these Muslims are not looking from the point of view that this is basically a Hindu lyric. The problem I have is with the words and sentiments therein. Why should anyone do a favour to another in spite of the trouble he/she has to go thru to do exactly that? “Par dukhe upkar kare” why ? Why “sagar log ma sau ne vande , ninda na kare keni re” Why ? Doing favours to others has steamrolled India into a nation that suffers today because of ” Bhaichara” with those who have no values, at least most of them. Gandhi became a “Mahatma” at the expense of the present day Hindus who have to carry the burden of his follies and mistaken ideals
Dwivedi ji,
I am glad that you appreciate the fact that we chose a ‘Hindu lyric’ for this qawwali presentation of ours. It has been extremely well received and I applaud all people who got in touch with us and told us how they felt about this video of ours. We really appreciate it.
It may interest you to know, however, that riyaaz qawwali is composed of members from different belief systems. You refer to us as ‘these muslims’ and it takes but a nine-year old to feel the spite in your words.
From hereon, I will address your comment representing myself and not Riyaaz, although I’m certain that in doing so I will represent not just them but a multitude of misrepresented people. I see the problem that you have with the lyrics of the song and also see where you come from. You are a patriotic person and one who believes in defending his culture and tradition. However, it is this very distance that you feel from this song that defines how far away nationalism has taken you from your culture and tradition.
You may hereon, as I’m sure you will, continue to lead the ‘hindu frontier’ in battle against other ‘monstrous religions’. However, know that in doing so, you represent neither us nor the future generation(s) but a band of misguided.
