Gujarat Cheif Minister Shri Narendra Modi today visited Sir Takhtasinhji hospital in Bhavnagar to wish ‘get well soon’ to rebel BJP MLA of Mahuva Dr. Kanubhai Kalsaria.

Modi stayed with Dr Kalsaria for 10 minutes and reportedly advised Dr Kalsaria to take proper rest before going to public events and avoid travelling at night.

A day earlier, two senior ministers Anandi Patel and Narottam Patel had visited Dr Kalsaria.

Dr. Kalsaria was admitted to hospital after car accident early in the morning yesterday near Valabhipur when he was returning from Bharuch. Three others were injured with Dr. Kalsaria in same accident.

Dr. Kalsaria who nowadays describes industries as Aasuri tatva(evil element) and agriculture as Daivi tatva(divine element) now leads several small movements against industries in various corners of Gujarat.

Dr. Kalsaria’s socialist activism doesn’t always go well with Modi, but even after Kalsaria’s Mahuva and other movements against the government, Modi has not expelled Dr. Kalsaria from the party. Kalsaria has shared a stage with Congress party’s student outfit NSUI in past while fighting against Nirma’s cement plant. Dr. Kalsaria has opposed Modi’s Vibrant Gujarat summit. His supporters have defeated BJP candidates in Mahuva area and they are ruling local taluka panchayat body.

After he faced accident, Modi was among first few peoples to call Dr Kalsaria’s family and wished speedy recovery.
