Keshubhai Patel announces to contest Gujarat assembly poll from Visavdar seat

Former Gujarat Chief Minister and the President of newly launched Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) Shri Keshubhai Patel today announced that he would contest the Gujarat assembly election of year 2012 from Visavdar assembly constituency.
Keshubai made this announcement during his Parivartan Yatra today.
“The yatra reached Visavdar area where 4,000 bikers welcomed Keshubhai’s rath,” the party statement said adding that on the request of locals, Keshubhai announced his decision to contest from Visavdar.
Shri Keshubhai had contested from the same seat in 1998 also. Keshubhai didn’t contest the 2002 and 2007 assembly elections.
Interestingly, Chief Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Visavdar this Monday with his Vivekananda Yatra.
