Valsad Congress MP Kishan Patel arrested, released on bail

Valsad Congress MP Kishanbhai Patel was arrested by police on Sunday. Patel was released soon as his lawyer produced bail documents.

Dharampur based Bharatiya Janata Party worker Shankarbhai had filed complaint against Kishanbhai Patel and his aides for alleged attack due to which Shankarbhai had to face serious injury in ear and was admitted in Surat’s Civil hospital.

While local Police arrested 9 Congress workers in this case, Kishanbhai’s arrest was pending.

BJP workers had announced one-day strike against police inaction last week. However the strike was called off after police gave assurance of MP Kishan Patel’s arrest.
