Sources told DeshGujarat that Gujarat Congress leader and former Chief Minister Shri Shnankersinh Vaghela is planning parallel ‘Sadabuddhi’ fast against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled three-day ‘Sadabhavana’ fast from 17th of September.
Sources told DeshGujarat that while Narendra Modi is going to seat on fast at Gujarat University Exhibition hall in GMDC ground of Ahmedabad, Shankersinh has chosen Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram’s footpath as venue of his fast. Shankersinh had chosen same place to sit on fast against Gujarat government’s alleged move to relax liquor prohibition in SEZ areas of the state in past.
Shankersinh who is the head of the Gujarat Congress’s campaign committee for 2012 Gujarat assembly poll believes that Modi must not get three-day long media mileage alone, and his fast must be balanced, especially so far as media coverage is concerned.
In past when before the election of 2002, Narendra Modi decided to start election campaign from Fagvel in central Gujarat, Shankersinh had also announced to start the campaign from the same place in a bid to show his strength.
