Modi is ending his fast before 72 hours:Shankersinh(Video)

Ahmedabad, 19 September, 2011

Gujarat Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela today said that Chief Minister Narendra Modi is completing his three-day fast earlier than completion of three-day period which is 72 hours. Vaghela questioned how Modi can break his fast even before 72 hours are completed. While Modi is completing his fast at 5.00 pm on Monday, Vaghela said he would complete his fast on Tuesday at 10.00 am.

Editor’s note

Vaghela is right that technically three days is equal to 72 hours, but Modi when announced his fast clearly stated that it was about 17-18-19 September means three days, and Modi has finished his fast accordingly. Modi too mentioned this in his speech, and in fact started his speech with this background.
