IT raid on Pipavav Shipyard offices,Nikhil Gandhi residence

The Income Tax department today searched the offices of the Pipavav Defence at various locations in Mumbai and Gujarat. I-T officials also raided the shipyard facility at Pipavav in Saurashtra area of Gujarat. In Mumbai, Pipavav’s parent company SKIL office was raided along with owner Nikhil Gandhi residence.
I-T raids may be linked to insider trading charges on promoters. Raids, which started early morning, are still going on.
