In his impressive lecture as a part of Pandit Dindayal memorial lecture-series in Jaipur Gujarat Chief Minister Naerndra Modi said that Pandit Dindayal’s thoughts on growth and development is still relevant in today’s time. Gujarat has adopted newer dimensions in various fields of growth and empowered the society and the poor of the state, he said.
India can not grow keeping itself separate from the rest of the world. But at the same time we should also work to influence the world with our way of thinking. Gujarat has progressed in line of thinking of Pandit Dindayalji and has roped in people’s participation to boost its economy, Chief Minister said.
Modi claimed there will be no pendency of cases in courts in the state within two or three years.
“Lakhs of cases have been disposed and pendency of cases in courts has considerably decreased in Gujarat through our initiatives of Lok Adalat campaign, increasing the time of courts and decreasing vacation period,” Modi said.
“Now Gujarat will be a state with no pendency of cases in courts within two or three years,” he said while speaking at a oration on ‘Indian concept of development’.
Gujarat has also shown how technology can be used for the development of villages in accordance with the value-system of India, he said.
Even in the fields of agriculture, cattle-rearing, water conservation, woman empowerment and welfare of poor Gujarat has successfully progressed on the model which is based on the values of Indian culture, Chief Minister said.
Chief Minister’s thoughts were applauded by those present on the occasion.
