Will he boycott Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley too? Congress spokesperson Abhay Dubey asked Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan yesterday reacting to Chouhan’s demand that India should boycott of the 2012 Olympic games sponsored by Dow Chemicals.
Madhya Pradesh CM and five social organizations representing the survivors of the gas tragedy appealed the Central government to represent the country in the Olympic Games only if the organizers stopped taking sponsorship from the Dow Chemicals on the plea that the company did not clear the liabilities of the gas tragedy victims.
reacting th this Congress spokesperson Abhay Dubey said Dow Chemicals is investing Rs 600 crore in Alkali and Chemicals Limited in Gujarat. Arun Jaitley had given 15- page legal advice to Dow Chemicals, absolving it from all the liabilities of the gas tragedy in Bhopal. Congress spokesperson sought to know whether he would boycott Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley on account of their association with the Dow Chemicals.
