Surf Excel and Aerial powder you purchased could be duplicate.

Limbayat police in Surat in south Gujarat joined by Arvind Dubey of Hindustan Unilever Company from Mumbai conducted raid on a factory in Madhunagar here and caught a factor that was into making of duplicate Surf Excel and Aerial detergent powder.

The unit to manufacture duplicate detergent powder had started functioning one and half months back. Police arrested Shravan Parihar, Sonu Chauhan and Bharat Prajapati and seized two packing machines, powder, labels, pouches – in total Rs. 2.91 lakh worth items. Empty pouches were brought from Mumbai. Production cost was in range of Rs. 5-10 per pouch. Feel of the product was matching to multinational company’s original product.
