Wipro gets work order for RTO integration and modernization in Gujarat

IT firm Wipro has got work order for system integration and modernization of all RTO, ARTO, check posts and central monitoring cell working under state transportation department.
The work order was formally handed over by Transportation minister Vijaybhai Rupani in Gandhinagar today.
Rupani said, the state wants to avail maximum benifit of Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services to citizens in order to provide them effective and qualitative services.
Transport Commissioner Kamal Dayani said that the new system will involve laser measurement, radio frequency identification etc. All check posts will be supervised by central monitoring cell. Citizens will get status details of their applications online and able to post suggestions.
