After speed boats and floating posts, now a new set of fast attack boats will defend the coastal border of Kutch neighboring Pakistan.
India’s Border Security Force(BSF) on Tuesday tested and commissioned three fast attack boats ‘Agni’, ‘Prahar’ and ‘Garva’ in creek area close to Pakistan border.
American made fast attack boat consumes 300 litre diesel in one hour operation. It takes just 15-30 second time to cross 1 km distance. On Tuesday, three boats were tested near Luck Nala in presence of BSF IG Santosh Mehra and Kutch sector headquarters Deputy IG Devendrasinh. Puja was performed at Koteshwar before commissioning of these boats which are important considering the fact that Pakistan has increased its presence in Radha Bandar area close to Indian creek area.
