Ahmedabad
The city of Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat are peaceful today. This is great relief for peace loving Gujaratis. Curfew is continuing in some areas that witnessed violent Patel agitation, but in other areas, normalcy has resumed today. In Ahmedabad, the AMTS and BRTS bus services are to be partially operated again today but only if permission is granted for that by administration. Gujarat State Road Transport Service(GSRTC) may put some buses on road again in selective fashion today. It should be mentioned that thousands of passengers are stuck due to no-operation of bus and rail services in last two days. Today, the markets are open, traffic is near normal in almost all areas across Gujarat while schools and college are open in some districts. Mobile internet service is however not functional. For some people even internet is inaccessible. For some, internet is on but Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp are not working. SMS service is also not working.
