Aerodram sealed for non-payment of tax in Gujarat

Mahesana Municipality team in north Gujarat today sealed ‘Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics’ controlled local aerodram for nonpayment of Rs 4.5 crore tax. Civil officials said, even after repeated notices and reminders, the tax was not payed and therefore the aerodram facility had to be sealed. The air strip facility in Mahesana is not used for any scheduled flight. It is used by a private coaching institution for pilot training.
