KPT to give presentation on Smart City plan on May 11 in Delhi

The government of India has planned smart city development in alignment with 12 major ports. Kandla in Gujarat is one of these ports. A presentation on Kandla’s smart city plan will be held on May 11 in Delhi.
Kandla Port Trust has planned smart city in over 900 hectare land of Kandla and neighboring Gandhidham. Tata Consultancy was appointed to prepare a report for same.
It is learnt that the smart city plan will be executed in built operate transfer model through private deevlopers. KPT will construt main roads while internal roads and other infra facilities will be built by private developers.
