Low pressure in Arabian sea, warning issued to Gujarat fishermen

Ahmedabad: Sea ports across Saurashtra region of Gujarat including Bedi, Salaya, Nava Bandar and Okha are now having signal number 03 following low pressure in Arabian sea.

Warning has been issued to fishermen for Gujarat coast for the next 24 hours that due to low pressure area over North East Arabian sea and neighborhood squally weather would prevail along North/South Gujarat coast. Wind will be 35-40 KMPH from Southeasterly to Southerly direction. Wind speed in squall may temporarily reach 50 KMPH. Sea will be rough with waves from South Easterly to Southerly direction.

Fishermen are advised not to go out in the sea during next 24 hours. Signal number 3 has to be hoisted at all ports of North/South Gujarat coast.
