6 arrested for hurling bombs at DCP car in Vadodara

Vadodara: City Police has arrested six more accused for throwing crude bombs (tin and pipe bombs) on DCP Leena Patil’s car during communal clash in Fatepura area on 8 December. Police sought 14-day custody to inquire how the accused got knowledge of making bomb and how they procured material for same. The court sent 3 accused to 2 days police remand while other 3 were sent to jail.

Those arrested yesterday are Khalid Babumiya Sheikh, Irfan alias Maniyo Muhammat Rafiq Saiyed, Akib Aiyubmiya Sheikh, Ashrafkhan Bashirkhan Pathan, Mohibkhan Bashirkhan Pathan and Sajid alias Lalo Mehbubmiya Sheikh.
