Govt to offer cheaper, energy saver LED tube lights and fans

Gandhinagar: After Ujala bulbs, the government will now offer power saver fans and LED tube lights. The Chief Minister of Gujarat will on January 25 launch 50 wt power saver fans and 20 watt LED tube light products which are to be sold from over two dozen places in Ahmedabad from January 26 from places including Torrent power and other power company offices. Power saver fan will be available for around Rs 1100 price while tube-light will be offered at around Rs 200 price. The prices are cheaper than market rate in addition to which the products are to save 30% power cost for consumer.
